Project Scope: Renovation of the unfinished basement. The primary use will serve as a family multi-purpose space for the children to play as well as parents to exercise. The existing ceiling height is 6’-6” to the underside of the exposed joists. Based on the foundation assessment conducted by BEL Engineering the slab can be lowered up to 16” without requiring underpinning of the structures footing. The basement is currently served by two sump pumps which will need to be included when the slab is lowered. Additional design requirements:

• Relocate laundry room to closet
• Provide ½ Bathroom (properly sized)
